Semantic SEO is SEO 2.0 and semantic as described simply here– http://www.anywordsusedinsimilarspacessharemeaning.com/

Semantic SEO 2.0 and Search

Early in 2009 Social Media platforms became the starting point for over half of all searches and the drastic shift caused a considerable amount of distress to corporations and the search engines that served them since Yahoo’s conceived the search market in 1992.  Ordinary people quickly discovered that if they posted enough content, almost regardless of quality, the search engine spiders would be distracted from quality oriented corporate sites–quantity trumps quality.

It is often easier to make a point by showing rather than telling so lets search for any brand or product and explore the content that the search engines find with complex algorithms used to determine what is best to show you.  Type any product or brand name into any of the Google, BING, Yahoo search engine windows and you will probably see somewhere in the top 5 links though not necessarily in this order; Wikipedia, Amazon and three links totally unreleated to the product or brand.  The content that you see is created by entrepreneurs or bloggers.  These people earn considerable profit when you click on their links by providing you value whether it is information in the form of content or the ability to buy something faster than manufacturers or their partners that deliver the products to market with older or less flexible business models.  SEO entrepreneurs had started siphoning profits away from search engines and the trend had become event faster in 2010.

Semantic SEO appears to be the saviour for the search engines who may employ it to remove the SEO entrpreneurs that stand between them and product buyers on the internet.  Internet marketers will have to adjust their business models and rules quickly.

Search and Social Media

While the large social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIN, WordPress and even Facebook have grown quickly they have yet to find a way to monetize or profit to the same extent as the giants of search, and their growth has caused them a big problem.  The huge quantities of content generated by their user communities daily is becomming a burden that can only be solved by search.

Semantic Search Decoded

Now the best minds of search are working on employing and deploying semantic algorithms to break the proven formulas, methods, techniques, tricks and processes of SEO entrpreneurs, and this will be simple to do.  SEO depends on word phrases or combinations even if a thesaurus is used, words are the drivers to SEO currently though this is changing now with Google’s purchase of Metaweb that accelerates the rush to Semantic Search or rather creates the next gold rush to Semantci SEO.  Internet marketing and the internet marketing software and processes that support corporations must also change though it is hard for business to give up profit today for a promise of profit tomorrow.  This reluctance to change or greed creates opportunity for Semantic SEO innovators.

While Google, BING and Yahoo will employ complex semantic algorithms a new breed of semantic SEO entrepreneurs will eventually do the same thing as the old school SEO folks have done for the past 18 years, innovate.

Social Media and Twitter Software Tools

The SpeedSynch internet marketing software that we offer is based on a semantic engine and delivers results in the form of Semantic SEO Reports quickly and simply.  We have also used some older and proven SEO techniques to bridge the gap between SEO and Semantic SEO or SEO2.0 which includes the purchasing of domain names and creation of decent content–hand typed rather than automatically generated.  SpeedSynch generates Twitter semantic maps and may be applied to any content that can be seen.

New Rules for Backlinks, Blogs and Links

SEO ‘experts’ today build backlinks, links and content in that order to obtain the fastest return on their investments by attracting search engine spiders that then rank their content according to how it compares with other pages and websites.  More and faster generally wins the race to the top rank or position in the SERP or search engine results page.

Semantics will change this game quickly with simple concept of http://www.anywordsusedinsimilarspacessharemeaning.com/

Currently it is possible to generate content on a blog, personally or automatically, and create a link to another piece of target content on another web site.  The target content ranks higher when it recieves more links and from the perspective of search engine spiders they use the ‘backlinks’ to determine how the target content should be ranked compared to other sites.

While the spiders evaluate the content on the pages where the backlinks originate it has been previously done by using word combinations to ensure that the words on the target page have an affinity with words close to the backlink.  This has provided entrepreneurs and innovators the opportunity to generate huge amounts of content, useful or not, that meet these requirements.

Search engine spiders have been swamped by bloggers and social media sites and we expect the assessment of quality applied to backlinks will change drastically and very quickly.  For example if there is a nine year old web site with 10,000 backlinks it would outrank a one year old web site with 1,000 backlinks despite the fact that searchers find the newer site to have exactly what they need to succeed.  Older is also better for the search engines who charge advertising fees to the new sites to surmount the problem that is caused by the established older site with content and links that don’t match the NOW demanded by searchers.

Backlinks, links and blog content will quickly be assessed according to the semantci focus of searchers and we welcome you to join us at our various blogs and websites to explore the internet software tools, changes to internet marketing and internet marketing software and help us form SEO reports to adapt to the future which is here today.
